ExCITe hosted Katrina Stevens for a Learning Innovation Conversation moderated by ExCITe Director Youngmoo Kim on September 19, 2017 at Mitchell Auditorium in the Bossone Research Center at Drexel University. Stevens shared her experience as an innovator in creating and evaluating education technology, her concept of teachers as researchers, and provided a scan of what's working (and what's not) in schools nationally.

About Katrina Stevens:

Katrina Stevens is an innovator in education technology with over 20 years experience as a teacher and administrator. Stevens most recently served as Deputy Director in the Office of Educational Technology at the US Department of Education in the Obama Administration. She previously served as EdSurge’s director of edtech Summits. Katrina has a long history of building education programs and has been a key player in Baltimore’s emerging education technology ecosystem.
